Patrick “MrShineyhead” Fischer, CDI, is a storyteller and comedian internationally, educator of visual languages, culture, and advocate. Patrick is from several generations of artists from Germany and has extensive experience in theatre and art. With his graphic design degree, he has earned many positions; artist, performer, director, Director of Artistic Sign Language. Patrick is a Deaf Language Model in Alaska, and an award-winning national educator, teaching ASL and deaf studies/deaf history, and is a certified ASLTA Master.
Patrick launched his business in 2005 to provide services to those wishing to learn more about theatre through deaf eyes. He taught under the Sign Language Interpretation Program in Portland, Oregon. Patrick is also an awarded professional artist and co-owner of the firm, Expert Business Support.
Patrick is directing National Theater of the Deaf & American School for the Deaf’s Summer Theater Program in Summer; as well he was the director and program coordinator for few state schools and deaf theatre.
